In the afternoon of this day, from 18.00 to 20.00, a registration desk will be available at the hotel entrance, where participants may collect the conference material, including the invitation required to take part in the welcome cocktail.
Aperitif on the terrace
The local Organizing Committee has the pleasure of inviting you to an aperitif that will be held on June 5th, 19.30-21.00, at the Caffetteria delle Oblate. This coffee bar is located on the rooftop terrace of the Biblioteca delle Oblate (Oblates' Library), a public library in the historic city center, a few steps from Piazza Duomo, housed in the former fourteenth-century convent of the Oblates. Address: Via dell' Oriuolo, 26.
The gala dinner will be held in the Monumental Gallery of Palazzo Borghese on the evening of Wednesday 6th June 2018, 20.00. The invitation is necessary to attend the dinner.
Located in the middle of the historic centre of Florence (via Ghibellina, 110), very close to the Duomo, Piazza Santa Croce and Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Borghese is one of the most striking examples of neoclassic architecture of the Tuscan capital. Although it preserves an impressive facade, this building often passes unnoticed, almost suffocated by the anxiety of the road. Once inside, however, the beauty and the pomp are dazzling: the imposing honour staircase leads to the noble floor. The heart of the building is formed by the Mirror Room and the Monumental Gallery (or Reception Hall), which is a true architectural and artistic jewel: two hundred square meters of frescoes, plasters, bas-reliefs, niches, statues, columns and draperies.
